Ear piercing is one of the most personal forms of self-expression and when it’s done right, it lasts a lifetime. At M.INK Tattooing on Main Street in Winnipeg, our piercer Tayler  brings years of hands-on experience to every appointment, whether you’re getting your very first lobe done or completing a curated ear-stack you’ve been designing for months.

We use only implant-grade titanium and surgical steel jewellery, single-use sterile needles, and follow strict OSHA-aligned protocols. Consultations are always free, book your appointment online or give us a call to get started.

The rim of the ear offers some of the most striking real estate. Helix and forward helix piercings define the outer curve with clean, curated elegance.

Nestled in the innermost cartilage fold, the daith is intimate and distinctive. Rings sit perfectly here and it looks incredible once healed.

We mark the exact point and check it in a mirror together. You approve the placement before we proceed no surprises.

Single-use sterile needle, smooth technique, implant-grade jewellery fitted immediately. Most piercings take under 60 seconds.

Aftercare AND Brief

We walk you through full aftercare routine before you leave and we’re always reachable by phone or email if questions come up.

Aftercare

  • Protect Your Investment

Ear cartilage and lobe piercings heal differently we give you specific guidance based on your placement. The basics are simple.

  • Rinse twice daily with sterile saline spray (NEILMED or equivalent). That's it no soap, no rotation.
  • Sleep on a travel pillow or use a donut pillow for cartilage placements to avoid snagging.
  • Leave the starter jewellery in place for the full healing window — lobes (6–8 weeks), cartilage (6–12 months).
  • Pat dry with a clean paper towel after showering. Cotton towels snag and harbour bacteria.
  • Downsizing (switching to a shorter post) at 6–8 weeks is recommended for cartilage book a checkup appointment with us.

Things to Avoid

  • Touching or rotating your jewellery unnecessarily
  • Submerging in pools, hot tubs, or open water
  • Applying ointments, creams, or alcohol-based products
  • Changing or removing jewellery before fully healed
  • Ear buds or headphones over fresh helix/tragus piercings

        Most ear piercings are a quick pinch it's over in under a second. Cartilage placements like the helix or rook can feel more intense due to tissue density, but our needle technique minimizes trauma compared to gun-based piercing. The anticipation is usually worse than the actual moment.
